| Wendy Shay Involved in Car Accident, Sustains Injuries |
Popular Ghanaian musician and Rufftown Records signee, Wendy Shay, has been involved in a car accident, sending shockwaves through the entertainment industry. The incident occurred on Saturday night on the road between ACP and Kwabenya in Accra, leaving the artiste shaken and with injuries.
A video from the accident scene shows Wendy Shay's Jeep Wrangler vehicle with severe damage to the front side, bearing the registration number plate "SHAY 21-19." According to eyewitnesses, her vehicle collided with a tipper truck loaded with sand.
Prince Obimpeh, Deputy News Editor of UTV, who was present at the scene, provided an account of the incident during a live interview on the United Showbiz program on UTV. He described the stretch of road between ACP Junction and Kwabenya as typically clear at night, which often leads to high-speed travel despite the presence of police.

Obimpeh noticed a group of people gathered around a car and approached to investigate. To his surprise, he found Wendy Shay, who appeared to have sustained injuries, including hitting her head on the dashboard. Wendy Shay expressed her pain and inability to speak much due to the head injury.
