Prominent media personality, Andy Dosty, has shared some challenging moments he faced during the peak of his career, including a property swindle and the loss of a car.
During an interview on The Delay Show, the celebrated DJ and broadcaster recalled a distressing incident that occurred between 2011 and 2012. Andy explained that he purchased a 3-bedroom house in Nhyieso, a suburb of Kumasi. However, he lost ownership of the property when another individual surfaced with more convincing documents, claiming the house belonged to him. It turned out that the real estate agent who sold the property to Andy had previously sold it to someone else.
Andy lamented that the middleman who facilitated the property transaction had not been truthful and had since disappeared, making it challenging to resolve the issue. He recounted the situation, saying, "In 2011, I bought a 3-bedroom house in Nhyieso, and that one also came with a whole lot of problems. Someone came with documents claiming the house was his. He provided the records that indeed proved that he owned the house. I was also given documents. The middleman did not speak the truth, and till now, we don't know where he is."

In another unfortunate incident, Andy disclosed how he lost his car to a musician named Kwesi Sellasie. He had sold the car to Kwesi Sellasie, but he never received payment for the vehicle and had not seen it since. Andy recounted, "A musician approached me that he wants to buy one of my cars, and I gave it to him. To date, I haven't seen him. He is called Kwesi Sellasie and lived in Canada. To date, I haven't heard from him or set my eyes on him. I don't know his whereabouts. He took the car to Agona Nsaba, and I never saw my car or received any money for payment."
Andy clarified that, as far as he knew, Kwesi Sellasie was still alive and that there had been no communication from him. He admitted that he wasn't proficient in selling his properties and suggested that not having luck with such transactions often led to minimal outcomes.
