Their adventure began shortly after a fun segment of Beyoncé's concert known as the "mute challenge." This challenge transpired during the singer's performance of "Energy" from the Renaissance album. Following the line, "Look around everybody on mute," the audience was expected to fall silent.
Initially, Jones wasn't due for another week, so she mistook her contractions for Braxton Hicks contractions. However, she soon realized that labor was indeed imminent. She shared, "Usually, I like to dance at the concert, and I was like, 'I think I need to sit down for a second.'"
Once they exited the venue at the concert's conclusion, they recognized it was no false alarm. Jones was, in fact, going into labor.
The most significant contractions coincided with Beyoncé's song "Virgo's Groove" from the Renaissance album. They promptly headed to the hospital, where Jones delivered a healthy baby girl.
Currently, the couple is searching for the perfect middle name for baby Nora and wouldn't mind selecting something with a Beyoncé-inspired flair.
Interestingly, Jones isn't the sole concertgoer who has encountered labor during a live performance; in July, a 28-year-old Taylor Swift fan, Tori Hedges, went into labor during the singer's Eras tour in Ohio.
